A Midsummer Music Fest: EMPOWERING WOMEN’S VOICES

100 years ago, the 19th amendment to the US Constitution was ratified giving women the right to vote. ZOOM in with Music at Am Shalom for a series of events in celebration of women’s voices!

CLICK HERE TO REGISTER for a PANEL DISCUSSION with Hadassah Magazine entitled “Votes for Women: Jews and the Suffrage Movement”. Join Hadassah Magazine Executive Editor Lisa Hostein for a live online discussion about the contribution of Jewish women to the suffrage movement, and what that legacy means today. The event will feature leading American Jewish historians Pamela Nadell, Melissa Klapper, and Judith Rosenbaum, all of whom bring a wealth of knowledge about the Jewish women who have helped shape the American story.
