Am Shalom – Reform Congregation in Glencoe, Illinois - Death, Funerals and Mourning
Death, Funerals and Mourning
Am Shalom's clergy and staff are ready to assist you at any time when a loved one dies.
A bereaved family will be able to reach a member of our clergy at any time by calling the synagogue at 847.835.4800. One of the rabbis or cantors will respond quickly and meet with your family to discuss funeral and mourning rituals.
There are so many ways to observe Jewish funeral and mourning practices. Our staff, clergy and community are here to help.
Please visit Jewish mourning practices to learn more.
If you would like to be notified when there is a death in the Congregation, please contact Gia Master and ask to be added to the Good and Welfare list.
