Our School Schedule for 2025-2026:

• Kindergarten - Seventh Grades - Sundays 9:30 - 11:30am at Am Shalom
• Pre-K enrollment available for members! Pre-K meets monthly, for students starting K in 2026. More info on Pre-K here.
• 8th - 12th grades - Sundays 11:45am - 1:00pm  at Am Shalom.
• *Hebrew options must be selected by August 1.
  All Hebrew levels have the option for:
  • Either 1:1 Online Learning - 25-minute weekly individual session online, plus a Wednesday 30 minute online group enrichment class (5:00 - 5:30pm)
  • - OR - In-Person Class Learning on Wednesdays 4:15pm - 6:00pm at Am Shalom

2025-2026 School Fees
Note that Hebrew School choices must be made by August 1.
*Note that New Members receive $100 discount per child, per class for grades K-7. Fees for Pre-K and 8-10th grade are fixed.

• $750 for Religious School per child per class (K-7)
• $800 for In-Person Hebrew School per child
• $1050 for 1:1 Online Hebrew School per child
• $180 for Pre-Kindergarten (meets monthly)
• $650 for Religious School for 8th-10th Grade (Full Year)*
  *additional charge for NYC Trip participants will apply

Additional Information (Please read):

• Registration in Religious School is a requirement for our Bet Mitzvah program. This requirement begins in 4th grade and carries through the year in which your child celebrates their milestone.
• Concurrent Religious School registration is a pre-requisite for Hebrew School registration. Our Hebrew program begins in Third Grade.
• 2025-2026 THIRD Graders should sign up for Hebrew School for this year. Please reach out to Rabbi Phyllis Sommer if you have any questions or special circumstances. The majority of our 3rd graders enroll in Hebrew School.
• Drop-In for Hebrew School: Supervised hangout and snacktime for Hebrew School students on Wednesdays before in-person school (beginning as early as 3:00pm). No signup needed, more info coming in the fall.
• Seventh Graders must enroll in our 7th grade program, in which 70% attendance throughout the school year is a necessity for becoming a Bar or Bat Mitzvah at Am Shalom. *Please note that students becoming Bet Mitzvah in their 8th grade year are also required to be enrolled in Religious School. Seventh graders only attend on Sundays, there's no Hebrew option for 7th grade.
• 8th Grade Program meets 11:45am - 1:00pm on Sundays. (Registration is available in the registration form link above.)
• 9-12th Grade program meets 11:45am - 1:00pm on Sundays. More info about our 9-12th Grade Teen Learning here. 
• New this year: Madrichol for 8-12th graders must be registered through our school portal (no fee) before your teen fills out their own Madrichol application!
