Get Involved
Am Shalom is a community built upon connection and interaction. Together, we make our community strong!
Behold how good and pleasant for brothers to dwell together in unity! (Psalms 133:1)
We've all come together to be a part of Am Shalom, and there are so many different ways that we can find new connections with each other. Whether you're looking for other young families, learning or music experiences, social events, or social action programs, we have so many ways to get involved.
Do not separate yourself from the community. (Pirke Avot, Ethics of the Fathers, 2:4)
Our congregation is built on a strong foundation of volunteerism and social justice work. We find ways to help others in our own community and in the greater world as well. Making sandwiches for the homeless, collecting books or delivering chicken soup to homebound congregants are just some of the ways that we can help each other.
We hope that you'll browse through all the opportunities available and find something that speaks to you. Please contact any member of our staff if we can assist your journey in any way!
