Blessing Bags are filled with toiletries, food, water and other items. They're available at Shabbat services for anyone to take and leave in their cars to share with people in need. Join us in the Library to fill up 500 more bags.

Fanchon Simons' Feeding the Hungry

Each month, volunteer members of Am Shalom gather in the kitchen to pack 400 lunches for people in need. It just takes about an hour and is rewarding for folks of any age!
Drivers are needed to deliver the food! We need help transporting these lunches to those in need at Another Chance Assembly (5136 W Division St, Chicago, IL 60651).
As we do every year, Am Shalom will collect non-perishable food and hygiene items for The ARK. Donations can be brought to the storage shed in our north parking lot beginning September 15.
