Photography/Videography Vendor Form

This agreement is to be filled out by vendors for each event they are working on Am Shalom premises. Preferred Vendors are required to only fill out this form once per year.

Please read the following rules and regulations for vendors working on Am Shalom premises. After each section please initial to indicate that you have read and understand the rules and regulations.

PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEOGRAPHY SPECIFIC:

* •Photography and Videography are allowed during Shabbat and Bet Mitzvah services from the back and sides of the sanctuary; no flash or augmented lighting set up is permitted during the service.
•Photographers and Videographers must provide the names of all (background screened) employees who will be working on premises, no later than Monday preceding the Bet Mitzvah celebration.
•Photographers and Videographers must be approved vendors, must have a valid, current certificate of insurance and share their vaccination information or a negative Covid test taken within 24 hours of working on premises.
•At the sole discretion of the clergy and/or security personnel, any photography that disrupts the service will be stopped and may result in the photographer losing vendor approval.
•Photographers and Videographers are asked to not set up behind or adjacent to our A/V tech.
•Photographers and Videographers are asked to set their tripods prior to the start of our service. Tripods must be set and stay set throughout the service in order that there is no distraction created.
•Photography is not permitted during the 30 minutes prior to the start of the service. The bimah should be cleared, 30 minutes before our scheduled start time. All lighting removed and aisles cleared for the clergy and family to prepare.
•Photographers and Videographers are required to arrive no earlier than the scheduled photography time secured without prior authorization in order that we have appropriate time for our security and staff to open the building and prepare the sanctuary.

BUILDING & PREMISES:

* •Photographers and Videographers are expected to honor all Am Shalom rules, policies, and Glencoe Village and Fire Codes at all times.
•All Photographers, Videographers, and their employees must check in with Am Shalom security upon arrival and will be required to present identification.
•Smoking/vaping is not permitted inside the building or anywhere on the premises.
•Exit doors may not be blocked or propped open at any time for any reason.
•No vendor parking is permitted in the alley behind the building or the southwest parking lot. Violators will be towed at the owner's expense.
•Am Shalom does not assume responsibility for the security of personal items stored or left in the building or on the property.
•All Am Shalom rooms, facilities, and equipment must be returned to the condition in which they were found immediately prior to the event.
