Volunteers are needed to purchase, pack and deliver brown bag lunches for clients of Connections for the Homeless. This is a mitzvah opportunity you can do mostly from your home.

Lunches should be placed in brown bags and should include:

• Sandwich (turkey, chicken, or roast beef with a slice of cheese, lettuce, and/or tomato)
• A side, such as a bag of chips, a piece of fruit, or a protein bar
• A beverage, such as bottled water, a juice box, or a can of soda
• You may add more to the lunches if you wish!

Additional information:

• Lunch bag supplies are purchased by volunteers and prepared off-site at a location of the volunteer's choosing. 
• Participants who receive lunches will not have access to utensils or a kitchen.
• Please wash hands thoroughly before preparing and wear disposable gloves throughout preparation.

Logistics:

• Deliver lunches to the rear of the Margarita Inn, located at 1566 Oak Avenue, Evanston, IL, 60201 between 9:00 - 11:00 AM.
