The Ed Alpert Social Action Fund provides support for social action initiatives. The fund supports individuals and families in need both within our congregation and the greater Chicago community.
The Glencoe Community Garden was established by Am Shalom in honor of its 40th anniversary in Spring 2012. It is a sustainable, organic-practicing, food-producing mini-farm and garden that donates thousands of pounds of produce each season.
