Volunteers are needed to purchase, pack and deliver brown bag lunches for clients of Connections for the Homeless. This is a mitzvah opportunity you can do mostly from your home.

Lunches should include:
- Sliced bread
- Lunch meat, such as turkey, chicken, or roast beef
- A slice of cheese, lettuce, and/or tomato (no condiments please)
- A side, such as a bag of chips, a piece of fruit, or a protein bar
- A beverage, such as bottled water, a juice box, or a can of soda
- Place sandwich, side, and beverage in a brown bag and write the date of assembly on it (should make a total of 25 bags)
Additional information:
- Participants who receive lunches will not have access to utensils or a kitchen.
- Please wash hands thoroughly before preparing and wear disposable gloves throughout preparation.
Logistics:
- Deliver lunches to 1566 Oak Avenue (Margarita Inn), Evanston, IL, 60201 between 8:30 - 10:30 AM.
