This class is for students becoming B'nai Mitzvah between January 2023 - June 2023 (The exception are students who missed a previous class, check with Rabbi Phyllis if you have questions)

As a precursor to individual preparation for Bar and Bat Mitzvah, there will be a required three-week Family Class with Rabbi Lowenstein and Rabbi Sommer for you and your child(ren). During this class, you will learn and discuss various aspects of the B’nai Mitzvah experience, including requirements for the process, Mitzvah Projects, and Torah portions.

This class is mandatory and an integral part of your family’s preparation for your student’s Bar or Bat Mitzvah. We expect that a student will attend with at least one parent or other adult.

The class is TWO consecutive weeks on ZOOM, followed by ONE WEEK IN PERSON!
