We are all experiencing isolation and disconnection from our families, friends, and support systems right now. Am Shalom: Together at Home groups are a new way to create relationships among our community members around shared interests, hobbies, ages and/or stages, with the goal of offering opportunities for connection and caring throughout these winter months and beyond.

If you have an idea for a Together at Home group, or you'd like to lead a group, please contact Alyssa at alatala@amshalom.com.

About Nice White Parents
If you want to understand what’s wrong with our public schools, you have to look at what is arguably the most powerful force in shaping them: white parents.

Physically distancing ourselves from our grandchildren has been so hard for adults and children alike. All grandparents are welcome to join this conversation to share personal experiences and coping strategies.

Led by Mother/Daughter team,
Ellen Heinbach and Sarah Levi, PsyD

First Meeting: Monday, February 1 at 10:00am
Future meetings will be discussed among group members.

Sip back and relax as wine experts Melissa & Greg Miller lead us through a tasting of wines from multiple countries, grape varietals and appellations.

We'll taste three bottles/session over the course of four monthly sessions. The wines will be available for purchase by the case (including a surprise gift) for a special rate of $72. More information on how to order will be sent to registered participants.

Please email Alyssa at alatala@amshalom.com if you'd like to join this group.

We are still in an era of physical distancing; visiting restrictions mean that staying socially connected and providing emotional support is very challenging. This group will provide you with an opportunity to share personal experiences, feelings, and coping strategies as they relate to taking care of yourself while also caring for parents and loved ones.

Led by Cantor Julie Staple and Dawn Levin, Jewish Community Liaison, Jewish Child & Family Services
First Meeting: Sunday, February 7 at 12:00pm
