A Yiddishe Shabbes
with musical scholar-in-residence Joyce Rosenzweig

Yiddish culture has played an important role in the development of the American Jewish experience with hundreds of zmires (melodies) written honoring shabbes - this holy, precious, twenty-four hour time period, which has sustained and nourished the Jewish people for thousands of years. Along with our visiting scholar, our cantors, Orna Arania and Koleinu, this service will include Kol Zimrah Jewish Community Singers.
