As Am Shalom celebrates its 50^th Anniversary, we rejoice in the sweet sounds of Koleinu Adult Choir and the return of the Jewish Music Heritage Series! This shabbat will bring to life music from the 2020-22 JMH Learning Series, highlighting composers: Cantor Erik Contzius, Cantor Meir Finkelstein, Debbie Friedman, Max Janowski, Rabbi Noam Katz, Cantor Jeff Klepper, Hazzan Joshua Lind, Dan Nichols, Cantor Leon Sher, Rabbi Josh Warshawsky, and Hans Wurman. 

This special shabbat will also pay homage to our singers, players, and music enthusiasts and supporters; and will honor our beloved accompanist, Ken Smith, on the occasion of his 40th Anniversary with Am Shalom.

JEWISH MUSIC HERITAGE SERIES (JMHS) is an initiative of Am Shalom to expose and explore the ever- evolving modes of worship and musical expression within the Jewish prayer experience, and features Koleinu (adult choir).
